Exclusive! Trina Saha, Sohini Sarkar, Anindya Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh in a thriller for Camelia’s OTT?

Durga Puja – the biggest festival of the Bengali community – sees the release of big-banner films from Tollywood. This year, Srijit Mukherji will bring Dawsham Awbotaar with Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu U Sengupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, and others; Dev will bring Bagha Jatin; Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and Nandita Roy will release Roktobeej with Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty, and Arindam Sil will present Jongole Mitin Mashi with Koel Mallick. 

Besides these mega releases, it has already been reported that Camelia Films will bring a brand new OTT platform this Puja. According to unconfirmed sources, the name of the platform will be Friday. The reports of several shows, including Sagnik Chatterjee’s Lady Chatterjee, Arindam Sil’s thriller on Surupa Guha’s life, and a presentation by Rajdeep Ghosh, are out in the media. Now, it has been heard that a brand new show for this OTT platform is on the cards. According to sources, the series is billed as a thriller. Trina Saha, Sohini Sarkar, Rudranil Ghosh, Anindya Chatterjee, Sumanta Mukhopadhyay, and others will be seen in the web series. The title of the show has not been finalised yet. There has been no official announcement till now.

However, the shooting of the web series will start by the end of July. According to sources, actor Rajdeep Gupta was initially approached for the series. However, that did not work out. 

Meanwhile, Trina is busy working in Soumojeet Adak’s directorial. Billed as a drama, the feature film will also feature her husband, Neel Bhattacharya, in a cameo. Rwitobroto Mukherjee will also play a key character in the film.
