Exclusive! Trina Saha, Swastika Dutta, Ushasi Ray and Ananya Sen in Hoichoi’s new thriller

Sahana Dutta’s previous thrillers Indu with Ishaa Saha and Gora with Ritwick Chakraborty on Hoichoi have been liked by the viewers. According to sources close to Hoichoi, now the writer-director is all geared up to start a brand new thriller with four women in the lead. Trina Saha, Ushasi Ray, Swastika Dutta and Ananya Sen will be seen in the web series as leads and the show is slated to go on the floors on September 5. Rajdeep Gupta will be seen as one of the male characters. The look set of the show has been done recently. While Sahana has penned the script and will be the showrunner, Suman Das will work as the director of the show.   

As per sources, the shooting will take place in various parts of Kolkata. While nothing has been officially announced yet, the release time and date may be declared at the next season of Hoichoi Unlimited, which is scheduled to take place around September third week. Meanwhile, Sahana’s earlier works Indu and Gora will also have their second season. 

All the actresses have played different characters in thrillers. Ananya has worked as an important character in Gora, which is also made by Sahana. Trina has recently worked with Anjan Dutta in Murder By The Sea. Ushasi has played an important character in Hoichoi's Byomkesh season 7 and is seen in Rudrabinar Obhishaap. On the other hand, Swastika’s thriller Johny Bonny with Debasish Mondal in KLIKK has garnered a mixed to positive response from the viewers. The actress is also scheduled to work on another web series for the same platform. Directed by Samadarshi Dutta, the series will also feature Shaheb Bhattacherjee and will go on the floors by September 15.
