Exclusive! Tu Zakhm Hai Season 2: Donal Bisht and Gashmeer Mahajani are watching the show like audience members

Actors Donal Bisht and Gashmneet Mahajani are back with the second season of the web series Tu Zakhm Hai. The duo said that even though the first season was quite successful, they did not feel the pressure of expectation during the second season.

Donal plays Kavya and Gashmeer plays Viraj Trehan in the show, the second season of which has been getting a lot of love from audiences.

Speaking to OTTplay, Donal said, "I am not feeling any pressure when it comes to the response of the show since we are already in the second season. But I am interested to find out how much love we will receive this time. Even though the new season just dropped, I have already been getting several DMs on my social media page, and people have been telling me that they have binge-watched the show and are feeling connected to Viraj and Kavya. We are all immensely grateful for such love from the audience."

Adding to this, Gashmeer said, "When we were shooting for season two, we didn't know if the audience liked the first season or not, because we shot the two seasons almost simultaneously. So, the second season was not made based on the response to the first season. But yes, after seeing how well received the first season was, we thought that we should release the second season quickly, because the audience will get impatient if they have to wait for long."

He added that, along with the audience, he was also waiting for the new season to air.

"Since we finished shooting for the show last year, we can maintain a distance from it and watch it like an audience member. In fact, many of my friends and family are revisiting the first season so that they can once again form a connection with all the characters in the show," shared Gashmeer.

Tu Zakhm Hai season 2 is directed by Saurabh Arora, Aniruddha Rajderkar, and Noel Smith. It also stars Sameer Malik, Parinita Seth, Mihir Mishra, Nehal Chudasama, and Amit Behl, and is available to stream on MX Player.
