The web series Jubilee, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, has been appreciated by audiences and critics alike. Actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays a pivotal role in the series, opens up about what makes the filmmaker unique.

Wamiqa told OTTplay, "Vikram sir is an unpredictable storyteller, and that is his beauty. When you watch a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, you know that it is his film just by looking at the storytelling style, the visual treatment, and the aesthetics. But look at Vikram sir's film: a person who has watched his debut film, Udaan, would have never imagined him making a Lootera or Bhavesh Joshi. Look at the aesthetics of AK vs. AK, and then he created the world of Jubilee. He is like a magician and an unpredictable creator, and you never know what is coming next from him. He is a very fascinating director to work with."

She went on to add, "Another beautiful thing about his stories is the way he treats female characters. I believe that every film is a reflection of the director's mind. In all of Vikram sir's films, he has portrayed female characters as strong, real, and layered. I think that has a lot to do with the kind of wonderful ladies he is surrounded by, be it the influence of his mother or his wife. He also has a daughter. So, somewhere, the respect he has for women translates on screen in his work. Perhaps that is why in stories, women are never ornamental; they are real women."

The web series Jubilee also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, and Shweta Basu Prasad. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
