Starting her career as a child artist, actress Hetal Gada has managed to gain good experience in the entertainment industry and in her latest work, Amazon miniTV's Yeh Meri Family, she plays a pivotal role. The actress shares the best lesson she learned during the shooting of the show, from her co-stars - Juhi Parmar and Rajesh Kumar.

The story of the show is set in 90s era and the actress says it was only through the show that she was able to experience the beauty of that bygone era.

In conversation with OTTplay Hetal said, "The process of living in the 90's era through the show was the most exciting part for me during the shooting. There are so many small things that I realised that these days we do not even think of...for instance we all use mobile phones and it's so easy to talk to whoever we want to and the person sitting next to me, wouldn't know. In the 90's era, there was the culture of landlines so the moment the phone rang, who receives the call and who's calling were also part of the excitement, and at times even fear! Those moments used to be so special because there was a mystery attached to a phone call. Now we do video calls!"

The story of the show revolves around the Awasthi family of Lucknow and she plays the daughter of Neerja and Sanjay, played by Juhi and Rajesh.

Asked to share her experience of working with her co-actors and Hetal said, "One of the best learning that I had on the set of our show was how co-actors could be generous too. I am saying from my experience that actors are mostly selfish and here we have Juhi and Rajesh, two senior actors who would give me suggestions to improve my scene. At times, even a small tip of how I am saying a line or taking a pause in between changes the meaning of a dialogue and they taught me that. I am really grateful and have huge respect for them."

In the past, Hetal worked with National award-winning filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor in the film Dhanak.
