The new promo teaser for Vishak Nair’s upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual survival thriller Exit is out! Helmed by debutant Shaheen, the promo opens with four young men entering a mysterious bungalow, located at a hilly terrain, and are stuck due to unknown reasons.

The video begins with one of the men asking if the other three of his friends would accompany him to explore the abandoned bungalow, although hesitant at first, they agree later. Although films with references of cannibalism have been made before in Malayalam, this film promises a lot more as it narrates the story of a man chained for over 25 years.

According to sources, the film revolves around four young men who get stuck one night in a bungalow in a hilly village in the 90s. Vishak Nair plays the role of a man, with cannibalistic traits, chained in the abandoned bungalow for over 25 years for unspecified reasons. This narrative intrigues the audience who are curious to know the story behind this eerie thriller. Interestingly, the film also marks the first action survival film in Malayalam cinema, featuring a character with animal-like movements and no dialogue.

Nonetheless, Vishak Nair’s ‘beastly’ performance, the brute force and the eerie set of the mysterious bungalow have definitely piqued the interests of the viewers, who are used to watching Vishak in jovial characters in films such as Anandham.

Vishak Nair on his preparation for Exit

In an earlier interview, actor Vishak Nair revealed that Exit was one of the most challenging roles he had taken up. He had also revealed that to prepare for this role, he had attended workshops and had to train himself to eat raw meat. He also mentioned that he went through intensive shooting for the film and is excited to see how the audience would react to his film.
