EXO drops first teaser for their 7th full-length album 'EXIST' amid legal actions against SM Entertainment

SM boy group EXO is all set to return in July with its seventh full-length album. In the new teaser shared, fans see a light beam eventually taking the form of their official logo after expanding in various directions and along with the pictures, an eerie sound effect is used. EXO's new album will be out on July 10. 

Soon after the video went viral, their fans called EXO-L started trending, #EXOISCOMING to even #EXOISBACK hashtags on Twitter.

What about the legal action against SM Entertainment?

EXO members Beakhyun, Xiumin, and Chen filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment on June 1, 2023, alleging that the company violated their rights to an exclusive contract. 

According to Lee Jae-Hak, the legal counsel for the members, the premise of the case is that they were not provided with transparent records of their earnings and revenues.
