In an interview with Collider, Les Weldon, producer behind movies like The Expendables and The Hitman's Bodyguard, talked about the 'Has Fallen' film series. The latest addition to the franchise, Angel Has Fallen, was released in 2019, marking a four-year gap since the last film's release. When asked if the fourth film, Night Has Fallen, would serve as a starting point for another trilogy in the series, Weldon stated that it all hinges on the success of the upcoming film.

Weldon equated the 'Has Fallen' franchise to the Expendables franchise and said, "We need to do the next one, and if that works as well as the previous three, then anything is on the table." Weldon was talking about the 4th part of Expendables starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Tony Jaa and Megan Fox, released recently in theatres.

Earlier, It was announced that the 'Has Fallen Franchise' is gearing up to expand to a TV Series titled Paris Has Fallen. Gerard Butler, the protagonist in the film franchise, is expected to make a cameo appearance in the TV show that will feature a new action star in the lead. Mathieu Kassovitz will essay another lead in the TV show. Kassovitz will star as Vincent, the French Minister's most trusted bodyguard and the only person standing in the way between the politician and a terrorist group.
