Extra Decent pre-release teaser: Suraj Venjaramoodu promises a quirky entertainer this holiday season

Suraj Venjaramoodu is gearing up for the release of his film ED - Extra Decent on December 20, 2024. The noted actor has turned producer with this film, which is directed by Aamir Pallikkal. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers have unvieled a pre-release teaser.

The teaser begins with Suraj Venjaramoodu's character telling his mother (Vinaya Prasad) that his father blurts out all the happenings in their family to the security guard. The mother then reprimands the father for revealing such things to the world.

Suraj, in his typical witty style, lists down the number of people who would get to know this matter, right from the security to the association president.

The teaser then shifts to a diner where a group of people, including Suraj and Grace Antony are standing around a table with Suraj’s character behaving strangely. The pre-release teaser does not give us any more clues about the plot than that have already been revealed in the earlier released trailer.

The plot of the comedy drama film, written by Ashif Kakkodi, revolves around a Malayali family and the son whose strange behaviour creeps out people around him. Suraj, whose comedic roles are much popular, plays the son. Overall, the makers promise a quirky entertainer this holiday season.

The film also stars Grace Antony, and Shyam Mohan of Premalu-fame, along with Vinaya Prasad Sudheer Karamana, and others

In an interview, Suraj Venjaramoodu, who has co-produced the film with Listin Stephen , talked about the reason as to why he chose this movie for his production venture. The actor said that he really liked the plot and the characters.

“I have not done such a film before. The story is also very different. There is a lot of scope to perform. The plot develops through humourous situations. I liked it, and then I joined hands with Listin to back the film,” Suraj said.

The film is jointly produced by Listin Stephen and Suraj Venjaramoodu, under the banners of Magic Frames and Vilasini Cinemas, respectively.
