Nithiin, who last scored a hit with Venky Kudumula’s Bheeshma in 2020, has chosen a similar fun entertainer, in an attempt to strike form again. After a series of setbacks like Check, Rang De, Maestro and Macherla Niyojakavargam, he is back with Extra Ordinary Man. The film, to release on December 8, marks the comeback of writer-director Vakkantham Vamsi after Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya (a 5 year sabbatical).
Sreeleela is paired opposite Nithiin in Extra Ordinary Man, produced under the actor’s home banner Sreshth Movies. Rajasekhar too has an extended cameo in the entertainer whose supporting cast comprises Sudev Nair, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Sampath Raj, Brahmaji, Ajay, Harsha Vardhan, Suman, Annapurnamma, Pavitra Naresh, Ravi Varma and Hyper Aadi. The film’s trailer was launched yesterday.

The film revolves around the highs and lows in the life of a junior artiste. He dreams of turning an actor, donning new roles since his childhood but is relegated to the background in most of his film opportunities. Extra Ordinary Man, much like Bheeshma, is light-hearted and has the right mix of humour, action and romance to strike a chord with the masses.
At the trailer launch, Nithiin stated Extra Ordinary Man has his career-best characterisation. “Vakkantham Vamsi has written Kick, Race Gurram before, this film is nothing less in comparison. On December 8, our only goal is to entertain you non-stop. The screenplay is fresh, the story is new. It has been a while since I’ve danced energetically on screen, I’m sure you’ll like it,”he said.
Vakkantham Vamsi shared, “I hope you all liked the trailer, we’ve been working hard to give an output like this since two years. It’s our duty to work hard and entertain you. The film will be ten-times more entertaining than the trailer. It’s my guarantee. You’ll know how good Harris Jayaraj is with mass songs in Extra Ordinary Man. Nithiin, Sreeleela’s dance moves will win you over.”
