Chris Hemsworth is sure to charge you all up with his husky voiceover, that perfect body and a devil-may-care-less attitude in Extraction 2.
At Netflix’s global fan event, TUDUM 2022, two gripping exclusive clips from Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 were released where the actor can be seen rising from the bottom of a river while he talks about how he pushes himself when it seems like ‘it can’t be done’.
BEHIND THE SCENES JOURNEY
Tyler Rake, Hemsworth's character in the movie, can be seen talking about taking on impossible challenges as he announces commencing shooting for the film.
"There is a moment where you say to yourself, 'It can't be done.' But instead of backing down, you push yourself forward into the unknown,” says Chris Hemsworth.
The video quickly moves on to showing us different locations that the film was shot in along with Chris Hemsworth and the rest fo the crew working on Extraction 2.
The director of the film, Sam Hargrave, makes a brief appearance in the film to inform the audience that the sequel will be mightier than its debut installment.
"With a title of '2' behind your name, you need to bring twice the action,” says the director.
THE TEASER
In the teaser of the movie, which has been viewed over seven million times in under 24 hours, we see a bullet-riddled Chris Hemsworth hit the bottom of a river in Bangladesh and as he is about to give up on dear life, a voice tells him: “Tyler, you drown not by falling into the river, but by staying submerged in it.” And that’s when Chris Hemsworth, in true action hero style, rises up and the clip comes to an end.
ABOUT THE MOVIE: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
Based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, the action thriller movie stars Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor famous for portraying Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Franchise. Sequel to Extraction (2020), the movie follows Tyler Rake, the main protagonist returning after barely surviving his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is given a new mission of extracting a family who is at the mercy of a Georgian gangster. The film also stars Tinatin Dalakishvili, Adam Bessa, Justin Howell, Tornike Bziava, and Sinead Phelps among others. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the film is written by Joe Russo.
It is worth noting that although Netflix has announced that this Chris Hemsworth film will be released in 2023, they have not come up with a date yet for Extraction 2.
