It's a proud occasion for Adarsh Gourav and all Indians everywhere. The first trailer for the upcoming Apple original series Extrapolations, in which the young actor stars alongside Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Edward Norton, Forest Whitaker, Tobey Maguire, Gemma Chan, and Sienna Miller, is available.

Adarsh published the series' trailer on Instagram on Wednesday and remarked, "A window into our future. Act now. Premiering on the 17th of March only on @appletvplus. Directed by the wonderful @richiemehta. And what a dream to be working with @gaz_choudhry @zuleikharobinson @houseofwaris and Keri Russell #extrapolations."

Adarsh gained notoriety with the Netflix original The White Tiger, which was adapted from the best-selling novel by Aravind Adiga of the same name. The project also included Rajkumar Rao and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. For his work in The White Tiger, Adarsh was nominated for a BAFTA for "Best Leading Actor." He will also appear in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Zoya Akhtar's upcoming movie.

A star emoji was used by filmmaker Zoya Akhtar to show her happiness in his post. "So proud of you," Amruta Subhash commented.

The searing drama Extrapolations, from writer, director, and executive producer Scott Z. Burns, depicts a future in which the erratic consequences of climate change have permeated our daily lives. The sensitive, life-changing decisions that must be taken when the world is changing faster than the population will be explored in eight intertwined stories of love, work, faith, and family from around the world. Although every narrative is unique, the struggle for our future unites us all. And the struggle between bravery and complacency has never been more pressing than when humanity's fate is on the line. Are we courageous enough to prevent our own destruction before it's too late?
