Anil Ravipudi, who last directed Sarileru Neekevvaru, is back in action with F3, the sequel to his 2019-Sankranthi film F2: Fun and Frustration. While the real conflict in F2 was the irresponsibility of its pivotal characters, the sequel turns the spotlight on their lust for money. Varun Tej, Venkatesh, Tamannaah and Mehreen Pirzada reprise their original characters in the sequel where they face a different set of problems. Produced by Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, F3 gears up for a release on May 27.
Kickstarting the film's promotional campaign, the theatrical trailer of the comic caper was released today. The trailer commences with Murli Sharma claiming that those who have money in excess treat it as fun while those who don't have enough, are perennially frustrated. Venkatesh and Varun Tej yet again play co-brothers in the entertainer while having to deal with the tantrums of their wives' families. What happens when the middle-class desire to earn money takes a turn for the worse?
The trailer suggests that the eccentricity in the characterisation has been further enhanced in F3 in comparison to F2, to generate humour. Venkatesh is seen time and again cautioning Varun against uniting with a new family but the duo ends up paying a heavy price. While Rajendra Prasad plays a cop, the presence of Sunil, Ali, Pradeep, Raghu Babu and Vennela Kishore contributes to the humour quotient of F3. There are several references to F2 within the trailer; so, the audiences who would've enjoyed the original will understand the sarcasm better.
Telugu viewers, who haven't got to watch a full-fledged comic caper for a long time now, will be relieved with F3, going by the trailer. Devi Sri Prasad's energetic background score livens up your spirits too. Pooja Hegde will be seen in a special appearance in the film which has cinematography by Sai Sriram and is edited by Tammiraju. Dil Raju is the presenter and AS Prakash heads the art direction team. Adi Narayana and Nara Praveen have also worked on the screenplay along with Anil Ravipudi.
