PremiumF3: Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s comic caper certified U, team gears up for a grand pre-release event

Many big-star films in Telugu cinema have arrived one after the other starting this January and the final mainstream film to release during the holiday season is the Anil Ravipudi-directorial F3, starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, Mehreen Pirzada in key roles. The film produced by Shirish and presented by Dil Raju is set for a release on May 27. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film smartly.
F3 has also wrapped its last formality for release - CBFC certification. With a run-time of 148 minutes, the film has been certified U - a major win, given the main target group is the family audience. While the film’s prequel F2: Fun and Frustration was about irresponsible men not realising the value of their partners, F3 is about how the characters’ lust for money drives them crazy.
The most impressive aspect during F3’s promotional campaign has been the team’s effort to involve everyone associated with the film (beyond its lead stars), right from its technicians to supporting cast including Sunil, Pragathi Suresh, Ali, to name a few. Sonal Chauhan’s character in the film is kept under wraps and the makers are reserving her characterisation as a surprise for audiences at the theatres.
The entire cast and crew of F3 is coming together for the film’s pre-release event to be held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. The team recently surprised residents of a gated community in the city and promoted the film in their premises. Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Y Vijaya, Thulasi, Annapurnamma, Pradeep, Raghu Babu too essay important roles. Pooja Hegde will be seen in a special appearance in a dance number. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.
