Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is all set for the release of his Tamil film Maareesan. The actor, known as FaFa, has a huge fanbase across the country, with popular roles in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and more. But what are the favourite films of Fahadh Faasil? The actor, who has a pan-Indian appeal, has now listed his all-time favourite movies, including a Mohanlal movie that he is dying to remake.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Fahadh Faasil revealed his all-time favourite movies, including Mohanlal’s Season. The very first movie he listed was Mili, the 1975 Hindi film, which stars the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, along with the veteran Jaya Bachchan.
The second on the list is yet another legendary star Rajinikanth's Johnny, which was released In 1980. Malayalam superdtar Mohanlal's movie Season, helmed by the iconic Padmarajan, is third on the list. FaFa then said Italian movie Malèna, released in 2000, and Il Postino, a 1994 movie.

The film starts with Mohanlal as Jeevan being taken to prison. Jeevan owned a restaurant at the famed Kovalam beach in Kerala. He gets involved in a drug deal to help Porinju and Kanthi, but lands in trouble. At the prison, Jeevan helps a foreigner, Fabien, to escape but there is more to the plot as the white man also has a link to his past. The thriller film has attained a cult status over the years, much like several other Padmarajan movies from the era.
Mohanlal and FaFa fan
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Hridayapoorvam. Interestingly, the teaser of Hridayapoorvam showed Mohanlal’s character telling a FaFa fan that there are more senior actors in Malayalam. This scene has gone viral, and fans are lauding Mohanlal’s FaFa moment. Both Mohanlal and Fahadh are part of Mahesh Narayanan's much-awaited film, Patriot, starring Mammootty.
