This time, the movie is creating waves on the internet for bagging the award for ‘Best Feature Film’ at the Swedish International Film festival’. Helmed by Dileesh Pothan, Joji went to be a critically acclaimed movie, which was lauded for its intriguing storyline. Fahadh Faasil, in his social media post, captioned, “Good News from Sweden ! JOJI won The Best International Feature Film Award @ the Swedish International Film Festival (SIFF) 2021,” and tagged the team of Joji to share in the celebration.

The week-long fest will showcase movies for its audience that have won in different categories. A thorough screening process is conducted to shortlist the films and the best one is declared the winner at the festival, which is then screened at the 5-day event. This time Joji, along with other movies will be screened at the fest from October 25-31.

Joji, which revolves around an engineering dropout and his family, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film is inspired by Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
