Nithish Sahadev-directed film Falimy, starring Basil Joseph, is gearing up for its release. And the makers of the film have now released a new track, titled Manjeera Shinjitham. The song is sung by Anthony Daasan and Vishnu Vijay, who have also composed music for the movie.
The music video features Basil’s character, who is thrilled that his marriage has been arranged. Throughout the video, he is seen in conversation with his fiancée, much to the surprise of his family members.
Basil is also shown going to the gym in preparation for his upcoming wedding. Known for his performance in films like Jane Man and Palthu Janwar, Falimy showcases Basil as a boy-next-door character. His innocence and witty nature are on full display in the music video, showcasing the charm that has won over audiences time and again.
The teaser of Falimy, released earlier, hints at an adventure, comedy drama, set against the backdrop of a marriage. Similar to Basil’s previous films, this movie is expected to be a light-hearted, feel-good entertainer. The story revolves around Basil’s character and his family embarking on a journey to Kashi, guided by a special woman named Anagha, who has captured Basil’s heart.
Falimy’s cast
In Falimy, veteran actors Jagadish and Manju Pillai play the roles of Basil’s parents. Lately, Jagadish has been taking on diverse projects - including Rorschach, Purusha Pretham and Theeppori Benny. Manju, on the other hand, is known for her performance in the National Award-winning film Home. The film’s ensemble cast also includes Raina Radhakrishnan, Amith Mohan Rajeshwari, Sandeep Pradeep and Meenaraj Palluruthy.
Basil Joseph’s upcoming projects
Basil’s most recent film was Charles Enterprises. However, he has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline - such as Madhuram Jeevamruthabindu, Cup, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil and Jeethu Joseph’s comedy drama Nunakuzhi. He will also be seen in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s friendship drama Hridayam, scheduled to go on floors this year.
