It has been known in Sandalwood industry circles for a while that the late Puneeth Rajkumar’s banner, PRK Productions, has an ongoing deal with Amazon Prime Video, whereby they will produce Kannada content for the streaming platform. The buzz was that three films, One Cut Two Cut, Family Pack and Man of the Match, would be the first three for the year, which was confirmed in late January, when the platform and the banner announced their collaboration.

All three films, One Cut Two Cut , Family Pack and Man of the Match were announced as February releases, along with a special offer for fans of the late Power Star to watch his films available on the platform for free this month. The first out was the Danish Sait starrer One Cut Two Cut, directed by Vamsidhar Bhogaraju, which released on February 3. It is now rumoured that Family Pack, directed by Arjun Kumar and starring Likith Shetty and Amrutha Iyengar in the lead, will start streaming on February 17. There has been no official word on this, but the buzz is that a week after the romantic comedy, D Satya Prakash’s Man of the Match will be out.

Family Pack is Likith’s second film with Arjun, after their previous collaboration, Sankashta Kara Ganapati. The film has music by Gurukiran, while Rangayana Raghu, Dattanna, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Achyuth Kumar, Padmaja Rao, Tilak and Nagabhushana are also a part of its ensemble cast. In an earlier conversation with us, Amrutha had said that Family Pack was a film that the late Puneeth Rajkumar took a special interest in, even suggesting changes and allowing the team to reshoot almost half of the movie to incorporate these.
