Family Star, the highly anticipated family entertainer that stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, has finally hit the big screens today. Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead in the movie, which is helmed by Parasuram. The movie, which marks Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram’s second collaboration after Geetha Govindam, is now receiving mixed reviews from the audience. As per the recent updates, Family Star ahs failed to live up to expectations.

Vijay Deverakonda has been receiving love from his fans for his screen presence and performance in fight sequences. However, neutral audiences feel that the actor should actively work on his dialogue delivery, as he still tends to get into the Arjun Reddy zone. Mrunal Thakur, on the other hand, is reportedly wasted in an under-written role.
