In 25 Indian cities, PVR Cinemas is conducting a specially selected "Valentine's Day Film Festival" in celebration of February 14. The festival, which has been going on for a week, began on February 10 and features films from the Hollywood, Bollywood, and other local film industries. Jab We Met, the romantic comedy starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has also hit theatres, and fans can't keep calm.

In viral videos, moviegoers are seen dancing to the song "Mauja Hi Mauja" in a theatre while Jab We Met is being screened.

A social media user shared a video from the theatre and wrote, “After almost 16yrs #JabWeMet in #ValentinesWeek is running housefull without any promotions in social media, speaks volume of a cult romantic comedy. @shahidkapoor bro do check reactions of public in theatre, u will love it.” In his reply to the video, Shahid Kapoor wrote, “Too special"


In addition to Jab We Met, movies such as Titanic (in English), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (in Hindi), Tamasha (in Hindi), Jab We Met (in Hindi), Ticket to Paradise (in English), Ved (in Marathi), Geetha Govindam (in Telugu), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (in Tamil), Hridayam (in Malayalam), Googly (Kannada), Love Ni Bhavai (Gujarati) and others were also released.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor was last seen with Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, and Raashii Khanna in the online series Farzi. Filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s Farzi is currently streaming on Prime Video. The show marks Shahid Kapoor’s streaming debut. It is based on Shahid, who plays a conman, starts a business designing fake currency notes, while Vijay, who portrays Michael, seeks to bust his illegal business.
