Fans react to Sanjay Dutt and Arshard Warsi’s new film announcement: Munna Bhai and Circuit are back!

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi are reuniting on the big screen and fans cannot keep calm! The much-loved duo of Munna Bhai (Sanjay) and Circuit (Arshad) from the cult classic Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, will be seen in a film together later this year. Both Sanjay and Arshad announced this via posts on their social media accounts, but the name of the film was missing from both the poster they shared and the caption of the post. 

Sanjay’s post read, “Our wait has been longer than yours but the wait is finally over, coming together with my brother @arshad_warsi for yet another exciting movie... Can't wait to show you, stay tuned!” 

Arshad's post read, “Finally, it's happening! Teaming up with my bro @duttsanjay for another entertaining movie and our wait has been longer than yours ;)”

As soon as the post went up, people started commenting to express their excitement at seeing the actors together again, and many of them asked the same question – is this another Munna Bhai film, while some even guessing that this is Munna Bhai Chale America, the third installment of the Munna Bhai series which failed to take off. 

As the upcoming film is being directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Sanjay through his banner Three Dimension Motion Pictures, some netizens, who seem to be convinced that this film is the next in the Munna Bhai franchises, have said that the film won’t work without Rajkumar Hirani, who has helmed the two Munna Bhai films – Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

Only time and the actors will tell if this new project is indeed a Munna Bhai film or not. But one thing is for certain. When Sanjay and Arshad get together for a film, it is almost always a treat.
