Fardeen went on to say that this was an entirely new experience for him, and he felt it was the ideal part for him. Coming back to the acting business at his age brings a certain degree of wisdom and life experience; one can truly add to the layers that Bhansali crafts into all of his characters, as they are multi-layered and fascinating.

The actor added that no one else writes characters like the filmmaker, as he traverses the gamut of human emotion and possesses an innate comprehension of it. Although working with Bhansali is intimidating, everything becomes clear when one puts it all together. Fardeen almost burst into tears, and he thanked the filmmaker for this opportunity, and he is thrilled to be here.
