People in the business world who were still working with Satish Kaushik a few days before he died may not understand why he died so quickly. Farhad Samji, who will direct the upcoming comedies Pop Kaun and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, remembers the late actor as one of his first audience members.

Samji recalled by telling Mid Day that he started writing lyrics 22 years ago, and when Salman heard the songs he had written, that is when he received his first break. The first person to congratulate him and describe him as promising was Satish, who was seated next to the superstar. Salman then provided him with an opportunity. Samji wrote his first song as a lyricist for the 2002 comedy Hum Kisise Kam Nahin, starring Kaushik and directed by David Dhawan.

Based on the well-known character Pappu Pager, which Kaushik plays, is the song Munna Mobile Pappu Pager from Samji's Hum Kisise Kam Nahin. The filmmaker also said that he also wrote numerous characters for Satish, who even came to see them while they were recording it. In this film, which will be released on Eid, he has a great part.

For the Disney+ Hotstar show Pop Kaun, it was clear who Samji should pick as an actor: the most reliable comic in Hindi films. The director anticipated that Satish would advance the idea significantly. In it, he portrayed a Sardar, and he has previously portrayed several iconic Sikh figures, so Samji knew he would do them justice.

Earlier, while talking about Pop Kaun, Johnny Lever had said in a statement that the show has everything, from classic punchlines to cutting-edge jokes. He is making his OTT debut with Pop Kaun, and what better way to do it than to take part in the largest comedy show of the year? The veteran actor can't wait for viewers to watch this giggle riot on Disney+ Hotstar since Samji's creativity and directing elevate the series to new heights.
