It has been a decade since fans saw the charismatic ruthlessness of Don on screen. And what better day to remember the high octane action accorded to viewers in Don 2, than on the tenth anniversary of the film today. The film’s director, Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter on the occasion to offer a tribute to the film’s cast and crew.

In the heartfelt post, Akhtar reminisced about his experience working on the film’s sets, recalling how much he had enjoyed filming. While thanking the film’s cast, he also made special mention of star Shah Rukh Khan, who had essayed the role of the titular character. Akhtar also penned a line dedicated to each part of the film’s crew, including the stunt people, production and post production crew as well as their collaborators in Berlin.

Don 2’s producer Ritesh Sidhwani also penned his own note of gratitude to the film’s cast and crew, while also thanking audiences for making the film a huge success.

Fans were not far behind the filmmakers, joining them in heaping praises over the action thriller, with each of them chiming in about what they liked best about the film.

Who could forget SRK’s show stopping entry in the film, a scene even Akhtar has called one of his favourites. Well the scene certainly seems to have wowed fans as well, with many calling it one of the best entry scenes in Bollywood.

SRK’s stylish look in the film seems to still make fans go giddy.

Many users also used today as an opportunity to rally for another instalment in the Don series, with one even requesting Akhtar to return for the same.
