Faria Abdullah, who made a smashing debut with the comic caper Jathi Ratnalu, took time to sign her second full-fledged role. Although her special appearances in Most Eligible Bachelor and Bangarraju earned her popularity, it's with Like Share & Subscribe that the actress returns as a leading lady. She is paired alongside Santosh Shobhan in the entertainer written and directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The actress spills the beans about her role in Like Share & Subscribe over a chat.

"I said yes to Like Share & Subscribe for the story. The script has many layers from start to finish and travel is something very close to my heart (she plays a travel vlogger in the film). There are various twists and turns in my character. I travel across the length and breadth of the country and the film is a full-on entertainer. I made very pleasant memories filming for Like Share & Subscribe. I travelled abroad for the first time, shot for a song in Thailand. I'll never forget that," she says.

A major chunk of the film unfolds amidst a forest (where she shot for 20 days) and there's an adventure angle to the story as well. "It's a place where mobile signal wasn't an option. We'd created that morass in the trailer and the film has plenty of action sequences and chases. In a nutshell, this was a Khatron Ke Khiladi-like experience for me," she shares.

Faria labels her co-star Santosh Shobhan a passionate and a hard-working actor. "Merlapaka Gandhi is a director with a clear head and the fun-element in the story is very organic and natural. I blindly followed him and had a blast filming for this." She insists her role in Like Share & Subscribe is in complete contrast to Chitti in Jathi Ratnalu. In addition to Like Share & Subscribe, she'll make her Tamil debut alongside Vijay Antony, in a film directed by Suseenthiran.

Relatability is the main criteria behind her choices and she's game to do films across multiple genres, be it actioners, super-natural/psycho thrillers, parallel cinema and musicals. She's also a part of Ravi Teja's courtroom drama Ravanasura (to release in April 2023) and will foray into the web space with a Hindi show. Like Share & Subscribe releases in theatres on November 4 across the globe.
