Following a successful run on the big screen, Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood actor, will enter the realm of OTT. Farzi, his first web series, will also feature Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar, and Kubbra Sait. It will be directed by The Family Man fame Raj & DK. The actor's first appearance was revealed by Amazon Prime Video, who also provided a preview of his character's backstory. Now, the Jersey actor shared another intriguing poster revealing the trailer release date. 

Taking to his social media, Shahid shared a new poster from the show and wrote, "He鈥檚 gonna fake it till he makes it聽馃捀

The makers earlier shared the the motion poster featuring Shahid, Vijay, Raashi and Kay Kay and described the series in a one-liner and wrote, "Blurring the lines between Asli and Farzi from here on 馃捀"

Shahid had earlier expressed his anticipation for the digital launch of the Farzi. It's so different from what they do in movies, the actor claimed. He is both apprehensive and eager. Shahid has always been eager to take on challenging new experiences. He is eager to learn what the audience thinks because he believes that this story and these people fit every movie he has ever been in.

Meanwhile, Shahid is currently filming for the Dinesh Vijan production with Kriti Sanon. It is anticipated to release in late 2023 and is described as a revolutionary romantic comedy involving robots. Additionally, the actor also has Ali Abbas Zafar film Bloody Daddy, which will be made available on Jio's new digital platform. The actor will also appear in Anees Bazmee's comedy, which will begin shooting in March of the following year.
