Amazon Prime Video's latest offering Farzi, created, produced and directed by Raj & DK dropped on OTT on February 10 midnight and has been receiving a lot of positive reviews from the audience. The plot revolves around supercop Michael (Vijay Sethupathi) who is on a mission to catch con artist Sunny (Shahid Kapoor), who has been in the business of printing counterfeit currency to make quick money. Vijay Sethupathi, plays a clean special task officer with constant run-ins with the politicians and at the same time, is going through a troubled marriage and a troubled relationship with his six-year-old son. His character as a witty police officer has clearly won the hearts of the audience.

Social media has been abuzz with how Vijay Sethupathi has stolen their hearts with his effortless performance. A user stated that Vijay Sethupathi is one actor who never disappoints.

Another user wrote, "Vijay Sethupathi speaks in four languages in this one scene. It would've irked and sounded fake if somebody else had done such scenes. VJS's charm stood out (sic)!"

Yet another Twitter user wrote that the scenes between Zakir Hussain and Vijay Sethupathi are a laugh riot. She wrote, "Never thought I'd say this But #VijaySethupathi ke munh se gaali itni meethi kyun lag rahi hai yaar And wtf are his banters with #ZakirHussain more than exceptionally hilarious Not to forget #Mansoor and #Michael THANK YOU @rajndk for these comedic reliefs (sic)."

The star cast of Farzi includes Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Bhuvan Arora, Zakir Hussain, Jaswant Singh, Kubbra Sait, Kavya Thapar, Chittaranjan Tripathy to name a few. Music for the show is by Sachin-Jigar and Tanishk Bagchi. The shoot was canned across Tamil Nadu, Jordan, Goa, Nepal, Alibaug to name a few. The eight-episode series dropped on Amazon Prime Video on February 10.-
