Fatima Sana Shaikh ventures into web series with Teen Kawwe: Details revealed

Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh will be venturing into the world of web series, and it happens with Teen Kawwe. The actress, who came in the limelight after playing one of the leads in Aamir Khan's Dangal (her debut Bollywood film) opposite Mrs famed Sanya Malhotra, is now making her web series debut opposite Pavail Gulatie. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari actress Fatima Sana Shaikh makes her web series debut with Pavail Gulatie. They star in the series named Teen Kawwe. It is backed by Siddharth Roy Kapur's production house, and also features Tashan E Ishq actor Siddhant Gupta in a pivotal role.

While there are still no details on the OTT platform or release date for the series, Filmfare reports that it is a slice-of-life drama and promises an ensemble cast like never before. The series is already on floors since May. Interestingly, images of Thappad actor Pavail Gulatie with Supriya Pilgaonkar and Isha Talwar (Parchhayee: Ghost Stories by Ruskin Bond) went viral, but there's still no clarity on whether they are a part of the show.

Fatima Sana Shaikh's other projects

Fatima Sana Shaikh (who also starred in Netflix’s Ludo as Rajkummar Rao’s childhood friend/imaginary lover) is one of the female leads in Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino. The film, sequel to the original movie featuring Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma among others, also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. Apart from that, Fatima will be seen romancing Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actor R. Madhavan in the Netflix film, Aap Jaisa Koi. Although the first look of the movie was unveiled recently, the release date, along with other updates (including more promos), remain undisclosed.
