The upcoming Disney+ miniseries Ms Marvel based on the Marvel superheroine of the same name is one of the many projects in the MCU. The latest news from the series is that Fawad Khan will be a part of the show.
While there were doubts about the Pakistani actor being a part of the show, Khan has now confirmed the news. In an interview with Film Companion, Khan said that he is a part of the production and that he can neither deny nor confirm, but the makers have put out the news themselves.
"It’s a wonderful experience, it was good fun. The cast that I worked with, the people that I worked with, it was good fun, but I am sorry, I cannot say anything more than that at this point in time.", Khan added.
Ms Marvel follows Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani-American Muslim superheroine who first appeared in the Captain Marvel comics. With her ability to shapeshift, she takes on the mantle of Ms Marvel from her idol, Captain Marvel.
The upcoming show is created by Bisha K. Ali, and will be the sixth MCU series to be released on Disney+ Hotstar. While it is unclear about what role Khan will have in the movie, it is exciting news.
Khan, who is an actor, singer and model, has also appeared in Hindi movies such as Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
