Netflix dropped the trailer of the third instalFear Street 3: 1666 trailer, exploring the beginning and the ending of the curse plaguing the trilogy.

After Fear Street: 1994 and 1978, be prepared to dive further back in time to Shadyside 1666. Netflix dropped the trailer of the final instalment of the Fear Street trilogy, Fear Street 3: 1666. This movie ends the horror trilogy, based on author R.L Stine’s books of the same name, that first aired on July 2 on Netflix. The last instalment will throw light on the origin of the curse that plagues Shadyside.
The film is set to explore the witch trial of Sara Frier, who put the curse on Shadyside. The town residents from the previous movies will also be present in this one.The movie picks up from Fear Street: 1978. As Deena attaches Sarah Frier’s hand to her body, she is transported to 1666 in Sarah’s body and a person announces, “The Devil has come”.

With the first two movies receiving largely positive reactions, fans are waiting with bated breath to see how it all began and ends.
The official synopsis of the trilogy states: “In 1994, a group of teenagers discover that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and that they may be the next targets.”
The Leigh Janiak directorial stars Kiana Madeira, Sadie Sink, Gillian Jacobs, Ashley Zukerman, Olivia Scott Welch and Darrell Britt-Gibson.
If the trailer is anything to go by, the final instalment will be even bloodier and scarier than the first two. It is slated to release on July 16 on Netflix.
