Felu Bakshi: Madhumita Sarcar to join Pori Moni and Soham Chakraborty in the thriller

It has already been reported that Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni is making her debut in the Bengali film industry of West Bengal with Debraj Sinha’s film. The popular and busy Bangladeshi actress has long wished to work in West Bengal films, as she said in an interview. The name of the film is Felu Bakshi. Though it is her first Tollywood project, everyone here knows her and is well-informed about her personal life. In this film, Madhumita Sarcar will also play a role. 

In the film, Pori Moni will pair up with Soham Chakraborty. It is said that the film will be a thriller. However, this Debraj Sinha film is not the first one that stars actors from both sides of Bengal. Previously, Tollywood actress Idhika Pal made her debut with the Bangladeshi film Priyatama, where she acted opposite Shakib Khan. 

After that, another film Toofan is coming. This will be produced by SVF as a joint venture of Tollywood and Dhaka. Here, Mimi Chakraborty and Shakib Khan will play the protagonists. Nabila will also play an important role. It has happened in the past also where actors from both sides worked in a film, either from Tollywood or from Dhaka. Directors and producers are trying to bring the audiences in the two Bengals closer with art and cinema.
