Felu Bakshi: Soham Chakraborty plays a detective in the thriller that features Pori Moni and Madhumita

It has been widely reported that Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni will make her debut in Tollywood with the film Felu Bakshi, directed by Debraj Sinha. Soham Chakraborty will be the male protagonist. Madhumita Sarkar will also play a significant role. 

Soham Chakraborty will play the eponymous character in this thriller. Felu Bakshi is a new-generation person who is shrewd, tech-savvy and keeps himself updated with the newest technology. He is from an ordinary background who loves to eat and solve crimes. Madhumita plays Debjani, a radio jockey, who secretly wishes to be Felu Bakshi's assistant. Pori Moni plays Labanya, a mysterious figure. Sataf Figar and Srijit Ayushman Sarkar will play other roles. 

The shooting will start on March 27 in Kolkata. Pori Moni will come to the city soon and join a grooming class for five days before the shooting. The film is produced by Himani Films with the association of Medianext Entertainment. Sudipta Majumdar of Vinci Da fame will be the DoP. Aditi Basu and Amlan Chakraborty will be the music directors of the film. The film will be released after Puja.

Pori Moni remains in the headlines for her work as well as her personal life. Last year, her relationship with Sariful Raj was in the headlines for a long time. She overcame the complications and is now a single mother to her son Padma. In a recent interview, she said 'I want no one's favour, though this a personal matter. Raj did not take any responsibility for our child. He will not take it but demand custody. I don't want that. He did not inquire about Padma till today.'
