Feluda: Has Srijit Mukherji kickstarted work on web series, starring Tota Roy Choudhury?

Feluda is out on a new adventure and Bosonto Utsav just got more thrilling. Private detective Pradosh Chandra Mitter, Bengal’s favourite sleuth will be back on your screens to investigate a murder mystery in Darjeeling and the shooting for the same has already started in Kolkata.

Actor Tota Roy Choudhury will be seen in his very famous avatar of Feluda. Anirban Chakraborty and Kalpan Mitra will fill in the shoes for Jatayu and Topshe respectively. The team started its filming schedule with a very important sequence at Kolkata airport. And once they are done with the Kolkata leg, they will be heading for Darjeeling and the action will unfold gradually within the blanketed slopes of the picturesque town. With Kanchenjunga towering over this quaint locality, ancient forests and panoramic valleys, it is sure to get the audience excited.

Last year, Srijit Mujherji was trying to gauge the pulse of the audience when he tweeted and offered everybody four options to choose from - Darjeeling Jawmjawmat, Hotyapuri, Koilashe Kelenkari and Baksho Rawhoshyo. Out of a total of 2,054 votes, people voiced their choice when they gave 40.8% votes for Darjeeling Jawmjawmat and voila!!

Anirban Chakraborty is a busy name these days with the audience loving him for his stoic performance in Byadh and as a convincing, loveable, sharp-witted Eken Babu and many more. Meanwhile, Tota who had to put on some weight for his TV projects has undergone a complete physical transformation for his role as Feluda with rigorous diets and exercise routines. The audience has to wait for a while to witness the trio’s amazing adventure when Feluda, Topshe and Lalmohan Ganguly (Jatayu) manage to decipher the magic once again.
