Fiasco OTT release date: The French industry has given numerous blockbuster hits to Netflix throughout these years. Whether Atlantics, Divines, I Lost My Body, School Life, The Wolf’s Call, The World Is Yours, or Marseille, Osmosis, Lupin, each content made immense viewership on the streaming giant. Hence, turning to the French industry again, Netflix is bringing another comedy series, Fiasco, next month.

Fiasco OTT release date: Where to watch the French comedy series

Mark your calendars as Fiasco is all set to release on April 30 on Netflix. The French comedy is created, written, and directed by Igor Gotesman, and co-created and co-written by Pierre Niney. The duo has also acted in the series. While Niney plays the lead role of Raphaël Valande, Gotesman plays another pivotal role.

The story follows a film director named Raphaël Valande, who is about to make his directorial debut with a film. Valande is shooting the film to pay tribute to the heroic life of his grandmother. However, things start to go wrong on the set and the shooting becomes a nightmare when a member of the team tries to sabotage the film.

Netflix's The Five gang’s reunion

Eight year after the release of cult classic The Five (2016), Igor Gotesman, Pierre Niney and François Civil have collaborated on Fiasco. Pierre announced the surprising news on X (Twitter) 2 days ago, along with a video from the set of the comedy series. Pierre recalled in the caption that Fiasco is a dream project and they have been searching for the cast since The Five’s making.

Igor Gotesman’s Family Business received huge viewership on Netflix, keeping fans hooked till the very end. Hence, his return to the streaming giant was quite predictable. Fiasco has 7 episodes and each of them is 35 minutes long.

Fiasco takes a comedic spin on the true-crime genre, offering a glimpse into the chaotic behind-the-scenes world of filmmaking. It boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Géraldine Nakache, François Civil, Vincent Cassel, and Marie-Christine Barrault.

So, buckle up and prepare to laugh your heart out as you go on a wild ride through the hilarious nightmare that is Raphaël's shooting set.
