Fighter: After Assam, Kashmir, Hyderabad, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone to shoot dramatic scenes in Mumbai

After concluding the climax of Fighter in a month-long schedule in April, director Siddharth Anand probably felt relieved; however, there's no respite here. The director began the film's final major schedule on Sunday at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai with actors Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. Dramatic scenes involving Indian Air Force facilities will be filmed over 15 days.

A source told Mid Day that the studio has built a massive set simulating an air force base in preparation for filming the upcoming aerial action movie. After filming exteriors at the Tezpur Air Force Station in Assam and the Indian Force Academy in Dundigal, close to Hyderabad, the team has completed their work. This schedule consists mainly of indoor scenes and dialogue scenes. Production designer Rajat Poddarr and his crew have constructed a massive set that features the interiors of an air force base, classrooms, and offices in order to realise director of photography Satchith Paulose's vision.

The source further told the tabloid that Siddharth kicked off the new schedule on Sunday, and the lead actors and Karan Singh Grover will shoot their portions independently over the next two weeks.

Hrithik and Deepika must put on their dancing shoes after this scene because they have two songs to film. The insider continued by saying that the director has allocated roughly five days for the numbers, and then there will be a brief five-day schedule in Mumbai. Siddharth hopes to shoot different scenes inside a combat plane this coming October. The use of visual effects in these sections will be extensive. All of the editing and mixing will be done at once. The director wants to raise the stakes with Fighter after the success of Pathaan. He is working quickly to finish filming in time for a January 2024 release.

Fighter, which kicked off in Assam in November before moving on to Kashmir, Hyderabad, and finally Mumbai, follows Hrithik's character Shamsher Pathania, called Patty, on his road to becoming the best fighter pilot in the country.
