Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan will co-star in the upcoming movie Fighter. The action-thriller has been getting a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. A picture of the team from Italy has surfaced online today as they can be seen taking a coffee break in between shoots.
This is the first time a photograph of Hrithik and Deepika together has surfaced after numerous photos were leaked. In addition to Hrithik and Deepika, the photo also features the filmmaker Siddharth Anand, Mamta Anand, and Bosco Martis happily posing for the selfie.
A fan page shared the picture on Twitter and wrote: "[Pic] Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Siddharth Anand, Mamta Anand, and Bosco Martis during #Fighter shoot in Italy"
According to reports, for a 15-day Fighter schedule, the team is in Italy. At Phi Beach in Italy, Deepika was earlier seen posing with a member of the team in the widely shared picture. Earlier, while they were visiting Dubai, a video of Deepika and her sister Anisha Padukone being astounded by a magic act at a restaurant also surfaced online. A fan page tweeted the video and wrote, “Magic trick with Deepika and Anisha at a restaurant in Dubai last month.”
In the Italy schedule, the crew will be filming not one, but two songs for Fighter in some exotic locations. These songs will be nothing less than a visual extravaganza for the spectator thanks to the large ensemble of dancers and the exotic locations.
About Fighter
Fighter, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, is touted as India's first airborne action movie. Besides Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor is also a part of the film, which is produced by Marflix Pictures and Viacom18 Studios.
The release date of the film was initially set for September 3, 2022, however, it was postponed due to pandemic-related production difficulties. It will finally open in theaters on January 25, 2024, which also happens to be Republic Day. Sanjeeda Shaikh, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and other actors also had supporting parts in Fighter.
