Fighter gets a new release date: Like Pathaan, Siddharth Anand locks Republic Day 2024 for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's actioner

Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures announce that Fighter, the action-packed big-screen extravaganza for India's 75th Republic Day, will open on January 25, 2024. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will portray Indian Air Force pilots in the film. Anil Kapoor has a significant role in the movie as well.

Director Siddharth Anand is known for making some of India's biggest action movies. In Fighter, he is also the producer, and he is going all out to make this huge spectacle that will give moviegoers something they have never seen before. The movie honours the people who serve in India's military, and it comes out just in time for the Republic Day holiday.

Fighter will be the country's first aerial action movie, which is a first by many standards. Additionally, it's the first time Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone appear together on screen.

Ajit Andhare, producer and COO of Viacom18 Studio, wants to bring an international-scale action movie to Indian cinema. The plot of the film is set in India, so it will appeal to people all over the world. It promises to use cutting-edge methods and technology while being shot all around the world.

Back in September 2022, Hrithik said that he would be changing his body for the role over 12 weeks of training. The actor had said that he was getting ready for Fighter, his upcoming movie. Hrithik revealed that he always sticks to a 12-week makeover plan. He should therefore appear slimmer than he does as of November 9, 2022.

Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand has another Republic Day weekend release. Yes, we are talking about Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role. John Abraham plays the main bad guy in the movie, and Deepika plays the female lead. It's hitting the big screens on January 25, 2023.
