Topping the list of most-awaited releases in 2024 is the Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor-starrer Fighter, a film that promises to be India’s first-ever film showing aerial stunts. As a part of the film’s promotional strategy, Deepika Padukone today took to social media and has called for entries from everyone who thinks that they can be her wingman!
Deepika Padukone took to Instagram and posted a video which had her saying, “Zindagi mein aur jung mein, kuch bhi ho sakta hai. But, with your wingman by your side, you can fly with confidence. Main doondh rahi hoon aise hi ek fighter ko who can be my wingman. Agar aap mein hai who baat… chat with me now”
She even captioned the post stating, “Psst! Patty and Minni are looking for a Wingman! Kya aap main hai woh baat? Here’s your chance to put your skills to test! (Link in Story) #FighterOn25thJan #Fighter @S1danand @hrithikroshan @anilskapoor @marflix_pictures @viacom18studios”.

Fighter will see the dream combination and also the first-time pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone on the silver screen. The film’s leading man Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has been reported to be playing the character of Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. And, as for the veteran actor Anil Kapoor, he will be seen in the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is being presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures. The film has been scheduled to be released on January 25, 2024. The film’s makers have already released a couple of songs, Ishq Jaisa Kuch and Sher Khul Gaye, which are being immensely appreciated by everyone.
