Twitter users and viewers shower their love on Fighter's trailer

Many fans went gaga over the beautifully evocated elements of patriotism, love, friendship, team spirit, as well as the stunning visuals, goosebumps-arising background music, and sincere dialogue delivery by the actors.

The glimpses of Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor inspired further buzz among fans and viewers, due to their powerful screen presence and diverse emotional range.

The trailer and what it reveals about the film

The trailer was a powerful portrayal of the 2019 Pulwama tragedy and the Balakot airstrike by India in retaliation to the terrorist attack. Though nothing new is shown in terms of plot premise, the developing bond of Hrithik’s Patty and Deepika’s Minni is an intriguing watch, with both the acting powerhouses at their best.

Anil Kapoor’s portrayal of Group Captain Rakesh ‘Rocky’ Singh grabs attention as usual, with his powerful screen presence and gravitas oozing in every frame. The film, however, does not only depend on thrills and star cast, but delves deeper into the deeply personal and sensitive bond IAF officers share with their nation and duty.

From featuring another inspiring version of Vande Mataram as the background music, to an officer enduring torture but still refusing to give up information, the film evokes patriotic fervour but does so while offering a complete entertainer.

The trailer ends on a jubilant note, but only after enduring heavy losses and tragedies on the way. Fighter promises to be another tantalizing box office blockbuster, if the trailer is a sincere depiction of what is to follow. With the assurance of never-seen-before action sequences that are to grace Indian theatres for the first time, Fighter is a film not to be missed when it releases on January 25, 2024.
