Finally! Thalapathy Vijay's Leo trailer gets a release date

The wait is finally getting over. The trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie Leo will be released for everyone to see in less than 48 hours. On Monday, the producers announced the release plans, adding to the excitement of the fans.

Seven Screen Studio on Monday confirmed that the trailer for Leo will be released on October 5. Fans will finally get to see what director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay have in store for them.

Lokesh Kanagaraj did a terrific job in guarding the sanctity of the project. The producers put in place all the required measures to prevent leaks that could upend the excitement and spoil the surprises for the audiences. So far, we have only a handful of information about the movie, its plot and its star cast.

The producers have also maintained a light-lip about the movie adding to the movie's allure. And Lokesh has promised a "high octane" trailer which could give some answers to our many questions, including whether or not Leo is part of the LCU.

Leo set for the biggest launch

Leo is expected to give Vijay the biggest release in his career so far. Not just in Tamil, for the first time, Vijay's movie getting a simulation release in all major south Indian languages, including Hindi.

Leo is expected to become the biggest Tamil earner in 2023, overtaking the likes of Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer.

The question is will Leo become Tamil cinema's first movie to earn over Rs 1000 crore in ticket sales?

Leo is due in cinemas on October 19.
