After the incredible success Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and Disney are hoping to strike gold yet again with the upcoming film Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange has spiritually replaced Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark/Iron Man as the MCU’s peripheral figure. The fact the character was crucial to the plots in the animated series What if…? and the record-breaking blockbuster Spider-man: No Way Home lends credibility to this theory.

The film is set to explore the various universes within the MCU and is rumoured to introduce the long-awaited X-Men characters in the film. The confirmed cast includes Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, reprising their roles from the previous MCU films, with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi helming the project. The Marvel Phase 4 is set to release several exciting new films and TV shows including Thor: Love and Thunder, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and Moon Knight.
