Finally, the release of the Good Girls’ latest season is nearing. We have just one more week to go. The season 4 of the NBC's comedy, will be available to stream on Netflix from Tuesday, August 31.
The series is about three suburban mothers who decide to rob a local grocery store to escape financial ruin that they have run into. But as they are new to the world of crime, they get trapped worse than they had planned and now they need to somehow manage to get out of it. The forthcoming season will witness the stakes raise even higher as the Secret Service starts to close in on the friend’s counterfeit ring.
Unfortunately, the show’s been cancelled and will not feature any more seasons. TVLine had reported that the show has been cancelled further to season four, owing to financial issues. An NBC insider told TVLine that they wanted to bring Good Girls back very badly for one more season to close out the story but unfortunately, they could not make the financials work.
This also means that fans can expect a few cliffhangers or loose threads at the end of season four which unfortunately will not be resolved. The American crime comedy series first premiered on February 26, 2018 and concluded on July 22,2021 on NBC. The series is created by Jenna Bans and is produced by her along with Dean Parisot and Jeannine Renshaw for Universal Television.
Beth Boland, Mae Whitman, Manny Montana, Reno Wilson, Matthew Lilard, Isaiah Stannard and Lidya Jewett play the lead roles in the series.
