FIR: Vishnu Vishal's action thriller keeps viewers hooked on OTT as well

Vishnu Vishal had a theatrical release after a long time this year with FIR, the action thriller that he had also produced, while co-starring in the film alongside Raiza Wilson, Reba Monica John, Parvathy, Gautham Menon and Manjima Mohan. The film directed by first-time filmmaker Manu Anand had a decent run at the theatres and had its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 12 in the Telugu and Tamil versions. Now, FIR is making a good impression among streaming enthusiasts as well.

As per a top 10 list of movies and shows compiled by Amazon Prime Video a few days ago, FIR has found a mention not once but twice. Yes, you're hearing it right. Both the Telugu version and the Tamil version of Vishnu Vishal's thriller has made it to the weekly list. While the original version (Tamil) stands at the third position in the list, the Telugu dubbed version is not too behind at no.5. This truly suggests that good content will always find its due regardless of the medium.

FIR revolves around a jobless youngster, allegedly a mastermind behind several terrorist attacks in a few cities in India. The story is about the man proving his innocence despite powerful organisations coming up with evidence against him. Arul Vincent and Prasanna GK, who handled cinematography and editing, are part of the technical crew in addition to music composer Ashwath. The film was bankrolled under Vishnu Vishal Studioz and was distributed by Red Giant Movies and Abhishek Pictures in the Tamil, Telugu versions.
