Firefly Lane explored how two people, who are polar opposites, come together to form an inseparable bond. Tully, the bold one, meets a shy Kate at the age of 14. While one of them becomes wealthy and famous, the other chooses marriage and motherhood. They go through all kinds of experiences together, including a love triangle, till the two have to face an ultimate test of their friendship.
The Maggie Friedman directorial is inspired from a novel penned by Kristin Hannah, who is also the co-producer for the show. Ben Lawson, Yael Yurman and Beau Garrett also play pivotal roles in the show.
The first season of Firefly Lane, consisting of 10 episodes, opened to mixed reviews, but topped Netflix charts for weeks.
