The trailer of Munawar Faruqui's upcoming show First Copy is here, and it talks about films and entertainment. The promo is the first glimpse of the Bigg Boss 17 winner as an actor. Interestingly, the series will be out on the same day as Aamir Khan makes his movie comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par being a theatrical exclusive release. Here's everything you need to know...
The trailer of First Copy teases Munawar Faruqui as an actor. The series is his first acting stint after winning reality shows like Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp and Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 17. His fans are excited to see that side of him and have been rooting for him. Interestingly, the series will be out on the same day as Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, which is an exclusive theatrical release.
First Copy is the story of a man who started selling newly-released movies to middle-class men who sought comfortable and budget-friendly experiences of watching movies. Like the title suggests, it is about a man who sold the first copy of newly released films. The big problem in that? It threatened to shut down the theatre business (since First Copy in CD is also a form of piracy, which can harm the movie business no matter how you look at it).
First Copy was announced among the Amazon MX Player lineup along with interesting shows including Jim Sarbh-Naseeruddin Shah's Made In India: A Titan Story. The series is scheduled for June 20 release. The series also features Surbhi Chandna, Meiyang Chang and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles, with things getting complex since their lives get intertwined at one point of time.
Munawar is a YouTube artist who is popular as a comedian and singer. He gained peak fame after winning reality shows. Now, he steps into the world of acting with First Copy.
