The first-look poster for Athma, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Narain in the lead role, was released by actor Jayam Ravi on social media recently. The film is expected to be a mystery thriller.
Athma is directed by Sugeeth and backed by Najeeb Kadiri. A release date for the film has yet to be announced by the makers. The first look poster shows a close-up shot of Narain's face as he sports an intense look and is looking up at something. The blue-tinted poster shows the contour of his face getting strayed with strands of some thread-like structure.
Team behind Athma:
Athma is directed by Sugeeth and is backed by Najeeb Kadiri. The technical team consists of Vivekh Menon as the cinematographer, with the story and script penned by Rakesh Sankar. Chnadru has written the dialogues. With music scored by Mangal Suvarnan and Shashwath Sunil Kumar, the editing is handled by Naveen P Vijayan. Apart from Narain, the film's cast also includes Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Shritha Shivadas, and Kaniha, among others. Athma has yet to get an official release date. The film is expected to be a mystery thriller.

Narain’s other films:
Narain, who predominantly appears in Malayalam and Tamil films, was last seen in the Malayalam film Queen Elizabeth alongside actor Meera Jasmine. Narain, who shot to fame for his role as Bejoy in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi, also has the Telugu film Devara and the Tamil film Kural in the pipeline. Devara is an upcoming duology in Telugu starring NTR Jr, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, among others. It is directed by Koratala Siva. Narain is also expected to make his presence in Kaithi 2.
