The Boys universe is about to get bigger and a whole lot bloodier. The animated spin-off to the popular superhero series, called The Boys: Diabolical, has unveiled its first look and it gives viewers a peek into the bloodbath in store.

The clip, almost a minute long, was released by Amazon Prime Video on their official social media handles. It shows a young man in a lab coat scrambling forward following a trail of blood, even as a panicked crowd of people are seen running in the opposite direction. In the next moment,a sweet looking toddler is seen facing off against a group of armed agents.

Viewers see just why the toddler had an array of weapons in her face, as she unleashes some powerful laser beams from her eyes, which instantly kills all the men. And in line with the irreverent tone of the original series, the toddler crawls away with a smile on her face chasing a balloon, oblivious to the destruction she caused.

The upcoming anthology series comes from the creative minds of Awkwafina, Ilana Glazer, Andy Samberg, Aisha Tyler, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, and Garth Ennis, all of whom will serve as writers of different episodes. The latter is the co-creator of the original The Boys comic books.

Another spin-off series is also in development based on a college run by Vought International specifically for superhero students.

The Boys follows the story of the titular group of vigilantes whose mission is to take down the irresponsible superheroes who form the Seven.

The Boys: Diabolical will premiere on March 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
