First Night Sleep Tight 2: Hungama Play launches the second season of the Bhojpuri show

Hungama Play released the second season of its Bhojpuri original show titled First Night Sleep Tight today. The second instalment of the comedy series is an extension to the first season where a newlywed couple, Bisan Kumar and Rekha Rani, tries to enjoy their wedding night without any disturbance.

Even a few months after their wedding, Bisan and Rekha haven’t been able to consummate their marriage and the couple is now attempting to enjoy intimacy while dealing with an over-curious family.

Speaking about the show, Hungama Digital Media’s COO, Siddhartha Roy said in a statement, “In the last 12 months, we have seen a 60% increase in consumption in Bhojpuri on Hungama Play. We believe there is immense scope to explore original, differentiated and made-for-mobile stories for Bhojpuri-speaking audiences.”

He further added that First Night Sleep Tight is humorous as well as relatable and like the first instalment, adding its new season will also be loved by the audience. Meanwhile, the producer of the show, Dilip Sood said in a statement, “The show is a hilarious take on a situation that many newly-weds face in small towns of India.”

Dilip also added that First Night Sleep Tight offers an interesting mix of comedy, drama and everything that audiences expect in an entertaining show. The show stars Lokesh Pandit, Anchal Kohli, Ravi Chandel, Himanshu Naria, Priya Gupta, Nisha Gupta, Ekta Sharma, Shiva with Ghazala Saad in significant roles and both the seasons can be streamed on Hungama Play.
