Prakash Raj plays the role of the college Principal who teams up with his student Arjun, played by Rajkumar, to save their college. Mandela - Netflix

Tamil comedy-drama film Mandela is a political satire. Written and directed by Madonne Ashwin, Mandela is the tale of a village where a panchayat election has been scheduled. A barber’s vote is what will determine the fate of the two political parties who are competing. Titled after Nelson Mandela, the film stars Yogi Babu and Sheela Rajkumar and can be streamed on Netflix.

Irul - Netflix

Netflix original film Irul is a Malayalam mystery crime-thriller. The film is Naseef Yusuf Izuddin’s directorial debut and stars Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir and Darshana Rajendran. The plot of the film follows the discussion of the protagonists about a book. This book is named Irul and features the story of a serial killer. Soon, it becomes evident that the serial killer is actually one of them and they must find out who. A riveting watch, Irul can be streamed on Netflix.

Supernatural horror film The Priest is one that will keep the audience glued to their screen. This Malayalam film stars Mammooty, Manju Warrier and Nikhila Vimal. Tamil thriller Teddy stars Arya, Sathish and Sayyeshaa Saigal. The film is the first Tamil venture to use an Indian animation company for their special animated character. Teddy is a power-packed action drama that features a young man with OCD rescuing a girl in need with the help of the titular character. This film can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
