It was earlier confirmed that the film would be released in July. Given the main actors' comfort level with humour, the comedy drama is anticipated to be an entertaining experience for the audience in theatres. A trailer is expected in the coming days. No other Malayalam film is slated to hit the big screen on the same date. Devadath Shaji's debut directorial, Dheeran, will premiere on July 4.

Flask's plot and cast details

The teaser offers a look of the main actors in this comic drama, but it does not give away much about the plot. The one-minute-and-nineteen-second video gives viewers a glimpse into the life of PSO Jyothi Kumar, a quirky police officer and talented singer. It also makes reference to his new position as a security guard for a judge who is gruff and unpleasant. It appears that they do not get along. However, the two seem to be held captive by Maoists, which causes chaos in their life. All things considered, the trailer points to a light-hearted drama. Balachandran Chullikkad appears to be playing Jyothi Kumar's father.

Balachandran Chullikkad, Aswathy Sreekanth, Siddarth Bharathan and Suresh Krishna played major parts in this movie. Rahul Riji Nair, who is renowned for directing films like Kho-Kho and Keedam, has helmed Flask. The director himself wrote the screenplay for the movie.

In February of this year, the director shared a photo of the key actors and crew on his Instagram to announce the end of the film's production. The camera work was supervised by Jayakrishnan Vijayan, while Christy Sebastian served as the editor. Sidhartha Pradeep produced the soundtrack for Flask. This comedy-drama has been funded by Lijo Joseph, Rahul Riji Nair, and Rathish M M.
